We have an exciting opportunity coming up that you won't want to miss! Join us at an Apprenticeship Community Workshop Event on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, proudly hosted by my office in partnership with the Michigan AFL-CIO Workforce Development Institute (WDI).
Who's Invited?
This event is for anyone with aspirations of securing a high-paying career through skilled trades apprenticeships. It's also an excellent resource for those looking to conquer employment barriers for themselves, their students, or family members.
What's in Store for You?
At this event, you'll gain insights into apprenticeship readiness programs, including Women in Skilled Trades (WIST) and Access for All. The best part? These programs come at absolutely no cost to the participants. Meet inspiring program graduates who have successfully carved their paths in the trades, from plumbers & pipefitters to carpenters, operating engineers, laborers, and electricians actively seeking apprentices.
